so i decided to take an inversion in our big chair, which is not unusual for me. i call this my expression of viparita karani "waterfall" or "feet up a wall". but in my case i think waterfall works as a translation. my daughter Margaret played with the camera, and my hair, for this variety of shots. Inversions restrict blood flow to the large limbs of the legs, increasing oxygen rich blood in the major organs of the torso, and the brain, and the pituitary. this improves systemic function, and changes the body at a chemical and cellular level. it also relieves pressure on varicose veins.
